Hi Chris
I'd have to say that at the top of my list, I'm thankful for my family. There's a lot of us; I have six brothers & sisters & a lot of nephews & nieces. Just about all of my siblings have a spouse and/or significant other, so on Thanksgiving day, there's about 25+ people in one home celebrating turkey day. For all of us to be so close and be relatively healthy & happy, I can't be more thankful than I am everyday I'm part of this family.
I'm also thankful for my friends & those who care about me. I feel truly blessed.
I would have been very thankful for the 30 lb turkey that I ALMOST got, but I was a day late. So I ended up with a 28 lb bird instead; that was the biggest I could get my hands on. But someday... someday, I WILL get the ever evading 30 lb bird... "Turkey Hunter"!!!
Oh, and I'm also thankful that I make the very best cornbread dressing in the State of Texas. No box stuff or pre-made stuff, everything is done by hand & with love.
I hope you have an awesome Thanksgiving!
xoxo,
Anya
