Brief show of Ann's cut leading into Diane's cut.
Diane talks about human hair wigs, how those in the entertainment industry have to use h.h. wigs because "you can really tell the difference."
That might explain why Locks of Love sells so much of the hair they receive. How much hair goes to children's wigs vs to entertainers? That I'd like to know.
At least Diane is donating for a Pantene program, not LoL.
It's funny, Diane talks about growing and cutting their "healthy" hair, which is ironic because Diane's hair doesn't look that long, nor that healthy.
Also, I understand that a minimum 10" is needed. It didn't seem that Ann's ponytail was that long, and Diane's pony can't be very long, and it's not that full either. I doubt if Diane's hair would be used in an actual wig.
And that short hair sure made Diane look instantly "older."
And as the final note: you watch Ann cutting the hair, but the camera never shows the scissors cutting the hair itself - that part is always blocked (until the very very very end).
