Thank you for sharing the pictures. It is sad that they cut their hair when they turned 50.

I am a woman in my late 40s and have hair 41" long at the moment. I almost cut my hair when I turned 40, due to feeling I was too old for long hair. I never went thru with it!!!!I have no intention of cutting it when I turn 50 either. I actually have a goal to grow it kneelength for the first time. Society and parents have not always accepted my long hair,especially now that I am nearing 50! I even opened a long hair site recently to share my pictures. I think I will have long hair for the rest of my life, its a part of me now that I never want to part with!
