Of course you're correct about girls in the sex industry. Long hair is key to attracting foreigners (Farang) in the clubs. I suspect this accounts for the short-hair trend among professional women. -- They don't want to be mistaken for bar girls.

The same goes for hesitancy to walk in public with a Farang. They fear they look like "working girls."

I appreciate the give-and-take on your view of Thai women.

I still matain they're the most beautiful INSIDE. Buddhism is a large part of it.
