I fail to see how this is a negative. There was some SEXY hair during the Victorian era. I'll gladly take this over what qualifies as "long hair" nowadays.
I take length first by default, only when it looks very coarse and sparse overall do I not think it looks good. Thinning out towards the end is just naturally how hair works, but if it's extremely long but so thin at the end that only a few strands are there by the end, also then I think it looks bad. Luckily, there are plenty of women with extremely long hair that don't suffer from this, so I'm not seeing your point about "most" looking bad.
Also, I gotta agree with Dick Dale, I don't see the point of you making an entire post just to insult the tastes of many users who post on this site.
