I remember finding a copy of Internet for Dummies sometime in late 1994 or early 1995 and reading the section on Usenet newsgroups. They listed a bunch of them, including alt.sex.fetish.hair! I knew I had to find this online. I was working at a newspaper and used my boss's Compuserv account to try downloading some stuff. I think I ran up a $400 bill one month before I realized how expensive it was back then. Luckily I didn't get caught with porn or fired.

There was a fair amount of flaming in that group because the long hair lovers and the short-hair crowd both thought they were the original hair fetishists.
