I completely agree.
The story line is very important. The build-up, innuendo, anticipation, all are equally important (perhaps more so!) than the actual and eventual act itself. Especially if there is a lot of dialogue/teasing (eg hair in updo/bun, the female playing/touching her hair, etc) leading up to the main moment.
Also, you mentioned "Read some of the hairjob literature out there and see how it really works." Would you be willing to share with us where you have come across such hairjob literature? I have been hoping to find some forever, but never managed to.
