Son, you're missing the adventure. If you don't contain yourself over, either the hair will be on the salon floor or you'll be sent packing. Wearing hair loose is a very sensual and private thing to most women.

When we met, my wife's hair had been cut from hip length to above the shoulder. Over the years, it became our private 'thing' to wear it loose... and you'll have to trust me, when she wore it up the electricity was constant. She was 1/2 middle-Eastern and 1/2 Irish with extremely thick black/auburn hair that she grew (with my help) to the back of her calves. There was no way she could stand to wear it down all the time with wind, heat, rain, etc... it's not practical. But, when she was in a playful mood...

Suck it up and love it when its down, appreciate it when it's up and make her feel like the queen she deserves. A pissed off woman (and under-appreciated ones) will chop off the hair in a heartbeat.
