Was exactly what I was looking for.

I doubt BSL is terminal for her too-- I brushed it out fully recently and it's definitely thick to the ends, no fairy tale wispy ends or anything. It's so gorgeous.

She washes 2-3x a week at most from what she tells me.

No she doesn't brush it when wet, and she has a wide tooth comb that she even left at my place from her last visit, I'm looking at it now.

She uses a straightener occasionally, and she's not a swimmer. She blowdrys sometimes but usually, air dry.

No scrunchies, just hair ties normally. No metal.

Wearing it to sleep? Either loose or in a cap which she got actually. Occasionally a braid, too. My learning to braid it might be a fun idea, thanks!

Day-to-day is either down or in a braid, generally. If it took her 2 years to get to BSL it will probably be 2 more years to waist length but I'd rather be patient for that as opposed to her chopping it off.

Pictures might be a good idea. Maybe I'll see if I can work that in.
