My story doesn't measure up to yours , but a few years back I was at family fuction in a restaurant in New York .

A long haired blonde woman caught my eye while dining.

I got up from the table and wandered closer to her table. I was completely blown away when I realized who she was sitting with.

It was Diane ( Gervgirl ) with her long brunette hair up in a bun.

Returning to my table, I was bursting with secret excitement.

Later as she was leaving , I positioned myself by the bar to say hello.

My heart was pounding but I HAD to speak to her. Just then I realized. . . . . sadly she was grieving with the girl she was with.

Deciding not to interfere and respect her privacy , it turned into a fleeting moment.

She was kind enough later to respond to my e mail and acknowledge that it was indeed her
