Ignore that goofball... we all like to hear about hair... past or present. The fact that she contacted you and sent a pic is cool in it's own right. Maybe she wants to tantalize you and maybe she actually wanted to hurt your feelings... if she knew your feeling about her hair, that may be the case. Women invariable want to change their look... this we expect in life... but those of us who "care" more about the hair are almost always hurt by the effect of the change. My personal feeling is an odd mixture of pain and excitement when I see someone I know cut their hair. It takes soooo long to get there and can be gone in an instant of (IMHO) "unclear" thinking on their part.

At the same time, the change itself can be exciting. Sometimes they actually DO look better. Sometimes it's the change that brings out that "something special" in their own inherant beauty. Then again, sometimes it just changes them into another body you don't give a second glace to....
