As long as copyrighted material isn't posted in the Group, they probably won't mind. I believe their concerns come up when material from their pay sites end up posted for free - and rightfully so. Actually, as "public figures" they cannot stop someone from creating a Group about them. Posting the copyrighted materials, lies or other damaging comments or rumors...quite another thing.

Not an attorney and haven't impersonated one on the internet either.
