I don't think Sam's opinion is counter to the goals of this board at all. It's a long hair board, yes, but that doesn't mean to say that we all have to like only ladies who wear their hair at the maximum possible length. Ask almost any of the ladies themselves, and they will tell you that their hair looks better for the occasional trim.

Personally, I find anything from mid-back onwards beautiful, and I'd rather see it shorter and thick and healthy all the way to the ends than longer and thin and straggly. I think it actually looks sexier that way. I thought Lena Li looked much better for her recent cut - the ends were very thin before.

Oh, and by the way, yes I do love really long hair, as far as ankle-length. Dragging on the floor doesn't do a lot for me - I like to see it swing and move.
