Thank you both for your great videos and photos! Alanis' shearing shocked me a lot too - her hair looked horrible when it was freshly shorn, and it looked like a wig the time she had bangs.

However, there is footage from 2008, and it looks quite natural, brown and wavy as before her experiments on her and not like extensions, and there is quite something to wiggle, move and swing again:
