Probably get some flack on this, but I think some of the hair care product videos showing long hair are VideoShopped. Video effects enhanced to show long hair like never been seen before.

Like a dream, like a fantasy, something to marvel at, but not really real.

There was one I saw that showed the long hair start to flow around the shoulders, with some strands beginning to separate, and then a solid color mass completing the swing and then back to the unaltered hair with some strands coming back into play.
