The earlier post on long haired belly dancers sent me exploring in a new direction. Some of the belly dancers in those clips were doing a lot of hair flipping.

My quest was a fruitful. Apparently, there is a style of arabic dancing known as Khaleegy or Khaliji that involves flipping and swinging ones hair to the music. members.iinet.net.au/~damask/fig8/adani/khal.htm
