as for history, I'm naturally a dark blonde (aka 'dirty' blonde, see above) but color it black with a special non-damaging dye. I had long hair as a child, but cut it short in 5th grade, to look more like a friend (who later said she didn't want to be my friend anymore because I wasn't popular enough).

such is life.

I treated my hair horribly for years after that and began growing it out again after high school. I had it this long, maybe a little longer, and thought I'd get rid of the color and go back to natural. Sadly, the woman (incompetent) who was taking out the color FRIED my hair. I lost huge chunks of hair from it, and had to start all over. As you can tell, I decided to stay with the black hair.

I find long hair incredibly sexy. One of my favorite things to do before a shower, after detangling it, is to stand in the nude and just swing my hair back and forth across my lower back and enjoy the softness. When I'm having a stressful day, nothing puts me more at ease than to have someone gently stroke my hair.

Currently I use Garnier Fructis on my hair, it smells absolutely wonderful.

I'm hoping to see my hair reach my mid thigh.
