I'm glad she didn't go too mad with the scissors!!

I well recall her first appearance on "Top Of The Pops" over here, must be in the late 1970's, the presenter (a DJ called Dave Lee Travis) introduced her and said "over from America, here's Crystal Gayle"......he then did a double-take, looked straight into the camera and said "wow, look at her hair!!".

Used to think she was just a country singer but her repertoire's far more extensive than that, I believe.
