People of either sex should simply wear their hair the way they want to, and if they feel that their partners should have a say in this matter, they should consider what their partner says and feels about it.

But God has no say in this, because we as humans simply have no way of knowing what he really wants. The Bible is just no reliable source of truth, as it´s a man-made, highly self-contradictory book full of translation errors and unresolved interpretation questions.

Furthermore it is utterly ridiculous to refer to the Bible in such an unimportant, trivial matter as a haircut.

All of this is not to say there is no God or there are no morals to be respected. But taking whatever Holy Book literally has only brought incredible violence and misery to man, instead of widom and peace, which should really be the goals and results of religion. There is simply no alternative to thinking for yourself and using common sense (which is a God-given capacity, too).

So take it easy, boys. Even if I do have a hair fetish, I´ve got to admit that a haircut is no religious or philosophical question.

And by the way, Mrs Pope has the most wonderful hair - it is just the type I happen to like best. I would suggest she grow it out to her knees instead of cutting it. Has she got any good reason for cutting it? I hope not, and I certainly hope she won´t do it.
