Once upon a dreaming

Saw her standing there, her smile beaming

Thinking what could this be meaning

A beautiful woman, my eyes were beholding.

Her long brown hair of shimmering waves

Shrouding her body like a gown of silken cascades

Caressing the tips of her feet with an elegant grace

Surely a perfection of a woman heaven made.

In a blink her sparkling eyes took my heart

She smiled saying come be with me, let us never part

Let us come together, let us find eternal love

Let us soar towards utopian fields above.

For in the utopian fields are vales of greens grass

Fresh flowing waters, and aspiring mountains that everlast

Feeling a sense of peace, and a love never to pass

To know I want her with all my heart.

Suddenly I woke a sense of sorrow as she was gone

My heart wanted to sleep on and on

But I knew the dream of her loving me was gone

Turning towards breaking day life goes on.
