Actually, a great misconception lies with longer lengths, when it comes to strength and long nails. Short nails are capable of much greater damage to someone than long nails ever could be... the longer the nail, the more fragile. I'm very gentle and ultra meticulous in how I use my hands/fingers, I would never even attempt to hurt anyone with my bare lil hands. Besides, isn't that what baseball bats are for? j/k
