I live in Europe. Over here we see, on our Television, News from all over the world.

We see the devastation in New Orleans, Mississippi... AND we see our own floods (Switzerland, Austria, Romania... I suggest you read WORLD news too.

Our world is full of drought, floods, wars (this the average US citizen knows about, they caused it in Iraq) Earthquakes and of course tornados.

I am not sure the US government would even accept international help (it would probably be considered as pity). I also don’t think the #1 nation of the world needs money or technology as they already have too much money, and men: As the US has sent so many brave soldiers to get killed in a foreign country for the WRONG cause (no massive destruction weapons found). I am sure the US military in Iraq would do a great job in helping US people rebuilding their own cities. That would be something to be proud of… just a thought.
