wow, this post insults me a bit. i'm european and i'm german. you compare your rich developed country to all those small poor southasian countries like the phillipines and thailand and so on, where more than a hundred of thousend people died, and were no previous warnings have been issued?! that's crazy, sorry!

there have been dead people in the US, too, and this is really sad, as all the damage is. but i don't think that you need international help in buildung a storm-warning-system or something! just spend a bit less money for war...
