See the headline on the magazine cover? "Hair is long again".

As positive as that may sound for everyone here, what I see there is the penultimate childishness, as it seems to refer to some summeer trend or summer fahion.

If long hair is to be the fad of the (summer) season then all those who went short to be in line with what was fashionable last winter will be devastated as their hair would take 2-3 years now to grow into something that can be called long.

That childishness doesn´t apply for longhaired women. Several positive attitudes (positive at least as far as I can judge) can be seen in all those women whose long hair we admire: they don´t give a damn about fashion magazines, they show almost absolute ignorance toward what seems to be in at the moment, they are into timeless ideals of beauty, they have patience, and they don´t let themselves be talked into following a momentary fashion whose very opposite is sure to reign in the next season.
