I wonder why the moderator deletes some messages?

There was an interesting debate about the use of AI and I wanted to contribute (Thinking there has been too much AI on this forum actually) but I notice that some messages about this discussion have been deleted...

A shame because I had some arguments.

I find that sad. This forum has always been about open-mindedness and debate, but now I notice that the moderator, instead of seeing the debate through to the end, is deleting comments.(delete contents with kids ok!)

Instead of letting the majority express themselves, he prefers to censor the discussion. As a French (country of freedom of speech haha), I find it very reductive and inconceivable to suppress this freedom in this way without even explaining why.

So, I'm not going to start a debate about AI here...oh yeah! Why?

Because I don't want my comment to be deleted. But, my final question is: can we have an explanation for this aggressive moderation worthy of a totalitarian regime?
