I used to be into my own hair a little and got excited when it had reached mid-back length, but I had grown it out too late.

Male pattern baldness set in, so it ended up not growing any further beyond that stage and thinning considerably, too.

So from then on it was no more joy, just managing and coming to terms with the decline and misery.

But I had been literally years away from the possibility of self-hairjobs anyway.....

I might have enjoyed having them.

My wife at the time had tailbone-length hair; I think she just gently laughed at the lengths I was reaching at best. I regret not having tried to encourage her to go for classic or thigh length back then.
