We do this for YOU! We try to keep this board clean and free of spam so that your visit will be an enjoyable and trouble-free one.

We all have "real" jobs. We don't (as some of you seem to think) camp out at this forum 24/7 waiting for spam to pop up so we can delete it instantly. Much as we often wish that we could, it just isnt' possible. Sorry.

You can all help improve "your" forum. While most of you are very proactive about posting notices and pointing out bad links so that others won't have to waste their time on them, it doesn't help anyone to simply post a thread complaining that the board isn't moderated to your personal satisfaction! Especially when that post comes from a Lurker that won't even leave a name or an email address. If you click a thread that is obvious spam, or contains (unfortunate, but sadly unavoidable) the occassional virus, please, take the time to post a reply telling others (as well as us moderators) that said link contains spam, or a virus, or whatever. It is a small act of common courtesy that will enable the board to run more smoothly.

The spam posters don't operate on a set schedule. We may go for days, only having to delete a few posts here and there. Then at other times, like today, there can be a run of bad posts (17 in LESS than 24 hours, for those of you who are counting). This board will RARELY go 24 hours without being moderated by one of us.

We greatly appreciate the positive feedback we've gotten lately, and want to thank you all for realizing that this is a difficult, and often thankless job. Let's all work together to help one another make this a comfortable, enjoyable place to come a relax, and enjoy the one thing we're all here for: Long Beautiful Female Hair!
