To be fair, I think long haired women don't generally mind getting attention, and even having their hair played with by a trusted person they like.

Everyone's different. Some hate, and seem to love to hate men who clearly enjoy their hair.

Most are somewhere in the middle. They grew it for a reason, they enjoy the feel of it and enjoy seeing someone they like feel it. They might even get a kick out of being teased playfully about it.
