I am a New Yorker, lived there nearly my entire life. I enjoyed many lunch hours in the trade center plaza and in the concourse below. Every time I see lower Manhattan, the towers are still there some how and in some way. Yes, they are still there, spectres of those proud buildings. Yes, they are there. The skyline is lost without them.

I am extraordinarily fortunate. I lost no one that day. My deepest sympathies to those who lost a loved one that day.
