Oops - I didn´t mean to start a political thread here. I had read the posts in the Bristol Pailn thread where Hoosier had expressed his dislike of Sarah Palin´s opinions and someone else then asked if Obama was any better.
When I had ritten my comment, I hit the "add the message" button instead of "reply".
My post should have been added to the Palin thread, really.
I hope nobody feels offended. I just thought I should give some people some food for thought. The U.S.A. have been a great and very successful nation, but times have changed, and things won´t remain this way if Americans don´t open up for new ideas.
In fact, I think this openness is what has made America great. The country was founded on the basis of a brave new idea on the forefront of man´s thinking at the time; hardly any other country shared it back then, most didn´t take it seriously, and generally people thought that it was an experiment that was bound to fail.
