The maximum length I find attractive is calf length (about where you are now I think). To me part of the sexiness of long hair it its "swing" or movement as a lady walks about. Anything longer than calf length will drag and no longer "swing".

The absolute minimum length you should consider would be classic length (i.e., an inch two below the bottom of the butt cheeks). Yes, this would hide your fantastic tush.... until you move your mane aside. Anything shorter than that length usually just rests along the back and doesn't swing as much.

For you anywhere between the classic length I describe above and knee length would be great. You have trimmed to knee length a couple of years ago if I recall. Whichever length allows the most bluntness of the ends.

One suggestion: film this cut. Make a whole video of it, the discussion with the stylist, your concerns of having too much cut, etc. It would probably be your best selling video of all time, judging by the response to your question on this board.
