Man, that brings back some GREAT memories! Thanks! When I was in high school there were 5 or six pretty (and of course, popular) girls that rode the same bus to school. Usually at least once a week at least one of them would take the seat directly in front of me. The ride to school took 20-30 minutes, so invariably she would toss her long silky mane over the seatback, so as not to be sitting on it. Just like you, I would nonchalantly ride the entire route with my hand on my knee, fingering the beautiful soft silk the whole way. The girls here rarely braided their hair (or plat, as you put it) so it was long, loose, and flowing, brushing over my hand and through my fingers with every move of their head. Of course, this meant I always had to be the last one to stand up and get off the bus! LOL LOL!!!
