I'm the author Jean Sasson and just saw your note quite by accident when browsing the web. Yes, you are right, I do have very long blonde hair... I got lucky and inherited my Dad's thick hair. On my web site the photos show it in a style more suitable for "business reasons." Not many people will consider an author very serious if she sports long, blonde hair... Don't ask me why as my long hair doesn't affect my way of thinking, but...

I plan on having more photos of my travels of of the very interesting people I have met featured on my site, and some of those will feature "long hair" but this year has been the worst of my life--as I lost my darling mother a few weeks ago, and I'm not up to doing much of anything.

Which of my books have you read? I hope you've found Mayada, Daughter of Iraq, the latest one. Gotta run for now, but thought I'd speak up! Jean
