Hey Trich, I know this isn't a "virus" forum but I have been trying all the suggestions and I still can't get rid of the searchv. I still cannot reset my homepage. I have downloaded "Pest Patrol" the "full" version and that did help to get rid of the winshow files. I also updated my Norton virus scan and did a full disc scan. I followed all the recomondations and never did find the MSuperdater.exe file. My popups have stopped and everything else seems to be normal but I still do not have a General tab which is how I have always reset my homepage in my internet options drop down box. Any help would be appreciated.
