I was at a party over the summer with my family, the summer going into kindergarten. I met a girl there who was also 5, and would also be going into kindergarten. I was so attracted to her, and she had thick, curly dark hair past her butt. I hung out with her all day and being naive I just assumed we were going to the same school in the fall. Sadly, we were not - she lived about about an hour away and I never remember ever seeing her or even hearing about her ever again.

Anyways, I remember numerous people at the party commenting on how beautiful her hair was, and I remember her mom mentioning numerous times to people she had never had a haircut in her life yet. I have been obsessed ever since.
