Desert life is very dry. Keeping long hair is challenging in this climate. It means lots of oil. Lots. Every three days or so, after deep conditioning, I saturate my hair in a special oil blend. I make sure to comb it through and go over it again, because my long hair just soaks up the oil like crazy. I like to sit outside on my patio in the sunlight, in a bikini top, and just rub bowl fulls of sweet-smelling oil through my tresses.
